False Bay

Today I went with Benny, the German man who lives upstairs, for a long walk along False Bay. We took the train to Muizenberg, and then we walked along the beach to Kalk Bay for lunch. It was a gorgeous afternoon. Here are some scenes from the day.

Muizenberg is known as the birthpace of surfing in South Africa. There were hundreds of surfers on the beach today, even with the winter temperatures.

Fishing boats in Kalk Bay.

Fish and chips on the shore from Kalky's.

We were proud tourists.
