There in the yard is our ever-vigilant German shepherd. I'm not entirely clear on his name. He appears to speak English, Afrikaans, and Xhosa. At first I thought his name was Nero, but I think it's something in Xhosa that sounds more like "Neh-wo." He is a very loud barker.
